Minh-Y's Wedding Jewelry Set
Minh-Y came to us looking for a wedding jewelry set that could move with her through two very different looks.
For her first dress, the neckline was the moment. We designed a delicate ruby necklace with red stones cascading softly across the front, then added a more private detail at the back: her husband’s birthstone, blue topaz, bezel set to fall gently down the nape like a little secret.
Her second dress had a higher neckline, so the focus shifted to the earrings. Minh-Y was drawn to the look of molten metal and wanted to bring together pear-cut rubies, baroque freshwater pearls, and a subtle touch of blue topaz. We translated those references into sculptural drop earrings that appear almost fluid, as though the metal is melting from the ear, with each element tying back to the rest of the set.
To complete the commission, we created two additional pieces for her mother and mother-in-law: pear-cut ruby and jade charms framed in rope-inspired bezels and finished with hinged bails, allowing each one to be worn on a chain of their choosing.A wedding set designed not as one matching moment, but as a collection of connected details carried across the day and shared with the people closest to her.
