A dojang (도장) is a traditional Korean carved seal used in place of a handwritten signature on documents, artwork, and other important records. Dating back centuries, seals have long served as personal identifiers, carrying a person’s name in a form meant to leave an impression.

The Reversible Name Stamp Dojang Ring reinterprets that tradition as a piece of jewelry for the present.

This piece is for anyone who was told their name was too difficult to pronounce, shortened it for someone else’s convenience, or once wished for a different name altogether. Here, your name is not something to simplify. It is something to claim.

The ring features two sides. On the front, your name, text, or image appears as it is meant to be read. On the reverse, the design is mirrored so it can be used as a functional seal when stamped.

Available online through size 9. For larger sizes, please inquire below. Additional pricing may apply due to the increased amount of metal required.

• Name or design is not a surface level engraving — all text and artwork are built directly into the ring model and raised from the face of the ring.

• Height: Approximately 20mm.

• Handcrafted locally in NYC using recycled metals.
