Ryan’s Yin Yang Pendants

Ryan approached his bespoke project with a clear starting point: a pair of Yin Yang pendants that would feel meaningful, wearable, and enduring enough to become part of his and his girlfriend’s long-term jewelry archives.

We used the Yin Yang form as the foundation and refined it through finer materials, cleaner proportions, and personal details. The goal was to preserve the symbolism of balance and connection while elevating the piece into something more lasting.

Each pendant was designed with polished Yin and Yang forms, bezel set with their birthstones: a round red garnet for January and a round citrine for November. The stones added a quiet layer of color and meaning, giving each half its own presence while still belonging to the same whole.

The final surprise was hidden on the back of the pendant bails: their initials, engraved as a private detail only they would know to look for.Both pendants were cast in Argentium silver, a silver alloy known for its bright finish and improved tarnish resistance compared to traditional sterling silver. We paired them with thick Franco chains to give the pieces weight, structure, and everyday presence.
