Donna’s Repurposed Diamonds Made New

Donna came to us wanting a hinged bangle that could become a permanent staple in her jewelry wardrobe.

She was drawn to the clean, elegant curves of the eternity symbol and wanted something timeless, secure enough for everyday wear, and made using jewelry she already owned but no longer wore. With a milestone birthday approaching, the piece also marked a shift toward investing in fewer, more lasting pieces.

We developed three interpretations of the eternity motif before arriving at the final design: a sculptural white gold bangle with soft, continuous curves and a refined profile. To complete it, we salvaged all 21 natural diamonds from Donna’s unworn jewelry, then cleaned and reset each one into the new piece.

A milestone piece built from what she already had, reshaped into something made to stay.

The starting point: Donna’s unworn jewelry, laid out for assessment before we decided what could be carried forward. Each piece was reviewed individually. We tested the metals, assessed the stones, and identified which materials could be salvaged and reused in the new design.

Before production, the design moved from sketch to CAD, refining the proportions, curves, stone placement, and closure before the final bangle was made.
