From the Nunchi Chapter — the founding chapter of the studio. The ring carries the mugunghwa (Korea's national flower) as its bloom and the word 눈치 (nunchi) embedded into the form itself. "Nunchi" is sometimes translated as "eye force," but it's closer to the practice of reading a room without anyone telling you what's in it. This piece is a sculptural homage to that quiet kind of intelligence — and one of the originals. Few were made.
